The financial side of business is often where the most ‘headaches’ arise, the dreaded tax return, keeping on top of clients/customers to ensure the books balance. For many women in business this is the part of their businesses that cause the biggest concerns.
At our Money Matters event earlier this year, Helen Monaghan of HM Coaching gave the group some great ideas to explore their ‘why’ and ideal client avatar as well as encouraging everyone to evaluate their money mindset. There were some interesting strategies to address how they viewed their relationship with money. The event had a perfect contrast of coaching and practical advice. The practical advice focused on making everyday money management a business routine, thus taking the end of year pressures off. Michelle Gregory of Gregory Accounting Services helped everyone look at their money habits and provided a simple framework to keep on top of everything finance, from daily actions through to annual tax returns and accounts.
